ADATARA

A couple of months ago Kyoko and I went for a trip into the mountains near Koriyama and Fukushima. We come across a huge crateor at the peak of one of these mountains. If you click on one of the photos you can see people walking around the rim of the crateor, and you can get an understanding of how huge it actually is. It took us about 45 mins to walk right around while constantly fighting the strong winds. The environment is completely barren because of the toxins and sulpher in the earth. It feels like you're on another planet. Next to the crateor there is an observatory with a resident astronomer. Im tempted to return there again during the night as the sky and surrounding environment would be incredible.
